It's always a happy time when we learn that a senior Akita in need has
found a new home. It is doubly happy when the Akita is able to go
from his current family to his new family with a minimum of
disruption. Kahn was a courtesy listing and stayed with his old family
while waiting for his forever home.

Arkansas Andy's New Home January 2009
From a small town in Arkansas to Lafayette, Colorado ... our littlest
orphan yet, Andy is forever home! He's not "Little Orphan Andy"
anymore and his mom and dad are waiting for him to tell them what his
new name is going to be.

Okiha is a Native American Indian Dog but his mom has been a friend to
Blue Moon for a lot of years, so when she took a new job in Alaska and
couldn't take Okiha, he came to us. His foster mom, Joni, did a
terrific job in helping Okiha through the first difficult months
adjusting to his new environment, and in November he found a new
forever family worth waiting for.
