Chewie loves his Forever Family (08/08)

Chewie is a sweet 5 year old Akita guy who loves everyone he sees.  Chewie is a long coated Akita who looked a little like a Yetie when he arrived in July 08.  Chewie was carrying approximately 8" of long coat which, in many places, was matted to the skin, necessitating a serious haircut.  Fortunately, Cynthia and Tony were able to see beyond the bad haircut to the terrific dog inside.  Chewie's growing his coat out again and I'm looking forward to more photos of this gorgeous guy once he's "his old self."
