My Story

OK ... technical difficulties.... click on any of the pictures above to enlarge and get the "whole picture" of the ones that seem to be just dog parts.  I'm still trying to figure this new software out and some days it just won't do what I want ... just know that Buster is a really handsome guy and click on the little shots above for better pictures.  Thanks.  (oh and I have no idea how to make the puppy pictures go away but I am still trying)

Buster is a really handsome Akita boy with a nice head and a big, broad, deep chest.  He's got a big voice and likes to let strangers know that he is in charge of the yard.  He's got a great temperament and is good about settling down as soon as he knows that we're ready to let those strangers come in.

Buster is friendly with children and is cordial with other dogs when he is on lead.  He is not a dog park dog and he is a serious believer that squirrels and cats are intruders and/or fast food.  If you've got a garden, I guarantee there will be no rabbits, squirrels, cats, raccoons or anything else coming into the garden with Buster running point.

Buster takes great pride in his work and wants love and praise.  He can be hard headed, but he also gets a big kick out of doing things right and earning praise.  He loves attentiion and likes going places.  You can count on Buster to be cordial in public with the people he meets.

Buster has been neutered, is HW negative, has all of his vaccinations, has been wormed and is microchipped.  He is crate trained and house trained.  He does believe that real dogs don't sleep in crates, but he will sleep there if we ask him to.  He appreciates having a big beef knuckle bone in his crate to gnaw on, and he also likes watching Animal Planet on TV.

Buster is a great dog for a single or a family.  He loves going places and doing things.
