WHAT WILL BECOME OF ME?
I wonder what will become of me. It seems like nobody but me and grandma and grandpa are worried about me. I did the shelter thing once before and my family adopted me and gave me a name and everything. Boshido! I was so proud to have such a strong name and a family to take care of me and love me. But I guess that's soon over now. Here is what my grandma told the folks at Blue Moon Akita Rescue about me:
A HEALTHY AND YOUTHFUL 8-9 YEAR OLD AKITA MIX, whose family is moving to an apartment that won’t allow him. He is laid back and low maintenance. He is great with babies and all children (his family has a 3 year old who bit him and Boshido just walked away. That same toddler got out of the house one day and walked off, Boshido went with her and wouldn’t leave her side. No one knows how long she was outside walking around, but they know Boshido stayed right by her, protecting her until she was found). He is NOT a barker or a chewer and walks good on a leash. He doesn’t get along with all other dogs, although he does some ( we think he prefers female dogs to males). Not sure about cats. Boshido will reward anyone who takes him with extraordinary loyalty. I am his “grandmother” and hope for someone to adopt this beautiful boy and give him a permanent home. He deserves it. Contact: Harriet Balhiser 719-276-2201
