Kylie's Story

Hi...I'm Kylie and I'm a real charmer.  I am about three years old and I just adore people and can hardly wait to have my own family.   My life was pretty bad before I came into rescue.  I picked up by the dog police as a stray and I had a nasty chain around my neck; I was wandering, hungry and injured.  The pound where I was at did my spay and operated on me although I was pretty sick with an upper respertory infection and had a real bad case of heart worm. I then went into rescue but kept getting sicker so was treated by a different Vet who found that I had a bad infection where my uterus had not been completely removed during the spay -- I was so very sick because I was full of infection and had started bleeding internally. After another surgery and lots of medicene and rest they got rid of the Heartworms too. So I've been in rescue for about a year because they wanted to be sure I was going to completely recover before I was offered for adoption -- but boy I'm a healthy girl and got a lot of energy now! I sure hope you're going to come and meet me!  I'm such a good girl and I love people so much -- I'd really like to go home with you!
