Across the Rainbow Bridge with Tai Tai 2008
We later learned Tai had heart worms which is rare in NJ as well as
lymes, erlichia , and every parasite you can think of. To top this off
he had testicular cancer. When we got the call from the shelter asking
for us to help Tai we said yes. Mommy Jo went the following day to
meet him and he despite his condition greeted us with a tail wag. Tai
was
completely vetted and taken into Akita Rescue of Western New York (www.akitarescuewny.com) where he made a full recovery.
Tai
at this point was probably over 11 years old and many people had over
looked him, besides at his age he need a home and that is when we
adopted him. The love this akita gave us in the 2 years we had him has
filled our hearts as well as our souls; we loved this Akita boy and he
loved us. Sadly we lost our Tai-Tai ( Mr. Tee-Tee) suddenly to bloat on
December 16 2008 a early Tuesday morning, one we will never forget.
We love you buddy run free, you will live in our hearts forever. Mommy
Jo misses you terribly, and Daddy carries your tags and collar on his
truck mirror, you loved your truck rides buddy....
Love Mommy,Big Daddy, Massimo & Arizona Belle.
